One step into the showroom where Jillian Lewis unveiled her Fall ‘09 collection confirmed why the former Project Runway finalist had been the fan favorite to walk away as the winner. The close-knit atmosphere of the show, where models in stunning threads walked through a thoroughly impressed crowd, reflected the fashion-forward and intimate style for which Lewis has become regarded.

Form-flattering knits and provocatively elegant dresses accounted for much of a collection that proved to be one of the week’s very pleasant surprises. The clothes garnered so much attention, the designer as able to amble through the crowd with relative ease as spectators snapped pics of their favorite looks.  

When Jillian Lewis was spotted alone, she stood proud, quietly admiring the adulation given to her work. And why shouldn’t she be? Lewis has created a line that her fans and the fashion world can be proud of.
